Sipnosis



Ligth Yagami es un excelente estudiante japonés que ha tenido una vida aburrida. Esto cambia radicalmente cuando encuentra tirado en el suelo un misterioso cuaderno en cuya portada se lee DEATH NOTE (libreta de muerte) en el cual, al escribir el nombre de una persona, ésta muere. Light se mantiene escéptico hasta probar la eficacia del Death Note en dos ocasiones. Luego de algunos días lo visita Ryuk, un Shinigami (dios de la muerte), que le explica sobre la existencia de dicha especie y de las Death Notes. El cuaderno es usado para matar a aquellos cuyo nombre sea escrito en él, por lo que Light decide usarlo para limpiar el mundo de maldad.
